ULT Motors

As the original platform for Applimotion direct drive frameless motors, the ULT series offer a large through hole and low profile construction. These motors are a unique blend of good performance and price and cover many applications.

 

Features:

  • Ultra Thin – Heights as low as 8 mm and diameters up to 165 mm
  • Simple Two Part Design – Frameless construction for integrating into your assembly
  • NdFeB Magnets – Special single ring magnetically skewed multi-pole magnets allow for concentric easy assembly.
  • Optional Windings – Select your voltage, speed and current, we create the winding. Also, contact the factory for complete torque speed simulation.
  • Sinusoidal Torque Curves – less than 1% higher harmonic content for minimum torque ripple on sinusoidal drives
  • Single Slot wound Stators – machine wound for more consistent performance and high reliability with no copper forming required.
  • Optional Back Iron Rings  - A standard set of iron rings are offered for each motor. Optional rings are available allowing more options for higher integration.
  • Optional Hall Device Feedback – internally mounted PCA doesn’t add to motor height. Recommendations on encoders also available.
