This support includes customized automated motor test equipment, motion engineering support, motor controller design and evaluation, encoder selection, and mechanical component selection.
Applimotion is currently involved in research and development programs at several customers where a motion engineer acts as an extension of the customers engineering group. With this approach, the customer gets a resource in motion engineering when it is required during the development program. Later, when the product moves into production, this high level skill may not be required, and this expense is eliminated.
